Cathy C. Bryerose is a former high school and middle school social studies teacher and has been a publisher of mostly LGBTQ+ fiction since July 1999. She will retire from publishing at the end of 2020. After getting more in touch with her spiritual side in 2016, she began delving into metaphysical subjects thru the University of Metaphysical Studies. Embarking on this path has lead to a much better understanding of herself, and given her many opportunities to look at life in different ways than she was brought up to believe possible.
When not working or reading and studying metaphysics, Cathy enjoys making cider and wine, quilting, making candles, creating jewelry, as well as crafting walking sticks and wands. She hopes to also get into woodworking and refinishing furniture in her post-publishing life.

Since I started with UMS and finished my bachelors. I have learned so much and have healed more than I ever thought. When I wrote my culminating project for my master’s the words, the thoughts and memories flowed through me. In a meditative state. I was taken back into time when I could see and remember in vivid detail my past. I allowed myself to taste, see, hear, and remember the things I buried away. During this self-reflection in these moments, I was able to process what was happening as an adult. I was able to apologize and heal my inner child. I felt free and not locked into my old thought patterns. I have been put onto this path by the universe. I believe that in healing myself I will be better able to help others in my spiritual and intuitive soul counselling practice. There are a few other certifications that I would like to pursue in the future as well to be of further service to others. Now on to the doctorate. I am so excited to be on this journey.
