Master of Metaphysical Sciences, M.Sc.

Calvin Spradlin, in my mid-sixties, I am a retired Marine with 26 years of service. I have owned three businesses, managed a local newspaper, and worked as a nurse (ASN). Currently, I work as a wine distributor and plan to retire permanently in December 2027. I am a husband and father of five—four daughters and a son. I hold the standing of High Priest (3rd degree) within the Correllion Tradition and with the Chosen Path Church in Jacksonville, FL.

Overall, I found the course of study to be a worthwhile investment and would recommend it to others. While some may progress quickly, I preferred a more deliberate approach. Setting aside time for review and reflection, and breaking the material into manageable sections, allowed me to learn at my own pace. Recording insights and summarizing key concepts further reinforced my understanding.

In conclusion, I value authenticity and will not pretend to be someone I am not. As a Priest, I believe the communities I serve appreciate this honesty, often asking me to lead rites (Sabbats, Esbats) even though I primarily practice alone. My experience has been deeply rewarding, and I look forward to participating in future events and seminars. I am especially interested in workshops focused on integrating spiritual practices into daily life, seminars exploring diverse spiritual traditions, and practical sessions on ritual work.

Blessed be to everyone at UMS. I now consider you part of my educational family, as we each follow our unique paths with love and peace for all.
