With the rise of COVID-19 in 2019, my spiritual journey began. Seeing the effects of COVID on family and friends made me realize how fragile life was. During that uncertain time, I began to wonder why I exist and I found solace in spirituality. I saw that people were feeling disconnected from each other, both physically and spiritually and I knew that life was changed forever. I chose to help others and I believed being a Licensed Psychologist was my only chance to impact lives. Although psychology helps people, it did not fulfill me spiritually. I didn’t like the one-size-fits-all approach. I felt that approach didn’t value individuals, and that bothered me. However, Carl Jung’s works drew my attention during my PhD, and as a result, many doors opened for me. Jung’s theories and spiritual approach connected with me. I couldn’t pursue my PhD. programs because it didn’t align with my philosophy. I decided to pursue a spiritual path instead. Since then, I have become a certified hypnotist. I am also an end-of-life Douala and a level 2 Reiki practitioner. Now, I want to finish my Doctor of Divinity degree. This will allow me to assist others on their spiritual journey.
Pamela Latour has spent twenty years in the Holy Land and Europe exploring the secrets of life. This exploration began in France and took her to the Middle East. She studied quantum physics and related sciences, theology, philosophy, psychology, shamanism, art and many different cultures and perspectives.
Through her study of the mechanics of what we believe and expect from our lives, she has shed light on the human experience. Through these many years of work, Pamela has developed techniques that make it possible for anyone to transform their lives, through intention and love, into whatever they choose it to be.
Pamela developed and began teaching a seminar called “The Keys of Life” to the public in Amman, Jordan in 2000 and found it to immediately change lives. Her work expanded rapidly into other workshops, in the Middle East and Europe. In 2010 Pamela came home to the United States. In addition to giving classes, she has had the extrordinary experience of attending the University of Metaphysical Sciences. Her first book is planned for publishing at the end of 2016.
After an accident threatened to end Pamela Dorian's modeling career, she took the event as a wake-up call to re-connect with her passions for learning and exploring the meaning of life. With an undergraduate degree from Columbia University, life coaching certifications from NYU and Life Purpose Institute, and now, B.Msc, M.Div and PhD degrees from UMS, Pamela hopes to bring the metaphysical world to the masses. The expansion of knowledge I’ve gained from my coursework will be a reference I’ll return to often. An incredible vast spectrum of subjects, that I would never have even considered to study, if not for this degree I engaged upon. The variance of study subjects has allowed me to, step back in a sense, as they opened up a greater general knowledge of various spiritual idealisms, that I found to give me a grounding of profound insight and clearer understanding of subjects that I had little or no prior real knowledge about. I feel this will ease me into conversations with those of different spiritual backgrounds, instead of just assuming what their faith or ideology is about.
The meditations and spiritual exercises have had a profound effect on me. Such beautiful and deeply emotional healing took place, so not what I had expected would have occurred. At times they pulled at my heartstrings, but in such a gentle manner. I uncovered great deep-seated old wounds, which I had thought I’d managed to heal, and of course, these old scars are still within and most likely always will be, but the meditations and spiritual exercises helped unravel a little deeper and finally clear-up some old debris that needed to be removed. If nothing else, these spiritual exercises have allowed amazing energy to shine through and this has given me such peace and inner-strength to move onto my purpose in life.

Rashada received a Doctor of Divinity in Spiritual Counseling, D.D. and a Philosopher of Transpersonal Counseling, Ph.D. from UMS, to acquire the additional and essential tools to enhance his skills as a Transpersonal Psychologist, Spiritual Counselor and Metaphysical Practitioner. He specializes in helping clients empower themselves through nontraditional approaches that creates physical, mental, emotional and spiritual equilibrium. Dr. Rashada utilizes a psychospiritual modality to treat clients who suffer what he term as 'spiritual diseases', since all mental health, sociological problems, addictions and dysfunctional lifestyles originates in the mind.
