I reside with my family in upstate New York, and I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, a Master of Science degree in Curriculum Development and Instruction, and I have completed by Bachelor of Metaphysical Science degree. I have worked in the Education field for 30 years.
My spiritual and professional goals is to complete a Master of Metaphysical Science and a Philosopher of Transpersonal Counseling Ph.D. from the UMS and I look forward in continuing her studies here at the University of Metaphysical Sciences.
My journey for spiritual knowledge and understanding has been life-long. I am a Mozambican, mother of 2 that has always believed that there was more to earth life. My spiritual journey started in an early age, but something was missing. And i have desired to enroll on UMS since 2015 and finally I did it in end of 2019. Since then my life has changed. I intend to open a coaching business but for now I have developed an online 21 days meditation course for beginners and it has been great to share the participants their experience.
I am a young man of 44 in South Africa who has lived with a burning quest for spiritual mysteries. Is this quest that led me to UMS. When I started I knew nothing. My name is Francis, but everyone knows me as Frankie. My journey began when I was 12 and my elder sister passed-away. During this time, I lost all faith and belief in religion and found myself one-day, heavily researching anything and everything metaphysical, paranormal and/or esoteric. At 13 I began practicing magic as a young magician and when I was 14-15 years of age, I started my Reiki journey. During these years, our home was paranormally active and I had many experiences.

Born in Guatemala, Central America in Feb, 1954. Attended medical school at University of San Carlos in Guatemala city. Due to health and economical adverse events I dropped out medical school. Then at the age of 29 moved to the USA where I have been residing up to this day. At the age of 62 I became interested in metaphysical sciences and enrolled at UMS. This decision has been the most fulfilling event in my life. Rev. Giovanna Vannall, MDiv. is the founder and Director of the Center for Holistic Awareness & Study (CHAS), created in 2007, a chartered 501c3 organization under the Organizational Umbrella of Ascension Alliance College and Church. As the Director of CHAS, she has created and taught many workshops for spiritual awareness and enlightenment. She served the Baltimore community for seven years, working with a drug rehabilitation facility providing spiritual development workshops for court-ordered residents. Rev. Giovanna believes that spiritual development study helps individuals to awaken to their spirituality and life purpose and come together as members of humanity to benefit and serve in their communities. She recently retired from hospice Chaplaincy, where she worked for over seventeen years, and was certified in the "Essentials of Palliative Care."
As a child I was brought up in an non religious home, on occasion I would experience prophetic dreams which would greatly concern me about my mother and father’s non spiritual way of life. There I began to question wether there was more to this life than just the physical experience of the body. I found it very easy to pick up on people’s moods and emotions and was so sensitive that I could not bear to have my fingernails cut!
My sensitivity has since been put to good use in my work as it assists me in intuitively tuning in to clients and enables me to help them to handle difficult emotions.
After some challenging and rebellious teenage years I became disillusioned and judgemental of people who were naive enough to believe in something other than their own resources and rejected anything that had even a remote spiritual label attached to it. Little did I know that the Universe had a very different plan in mind for me and one I wish I had known back then.
Years ago my value was based entirely on my achievements. Although I had a great deal of financial success, my self-worth was very low, resulting in some quite toxic relationships that mirrored the deep – down disregard I had for myself. As a result, I went down same pretty destructive and damaging paths that did not serve my best interest
It took more heartache and loss and many painful personal traumas which culminated in everything in my life coming to a crash in my late thirties to finally lead me to a path of spiritual awareness. The turning point was the untimely divorcing my abusing husband in 2013 after which I experienced a series of incidents that left me in no doubt that life did not end when we leave a relationship that completely destroyed me emotionally.
Priding myself on being an extremely practical and down to earth person, I initially dismissed these incidents as wild imaginings. It took three separate unrelated psychics (none of whom I had ever met before) who knew absolutely nothing about me to all confirm, completely unprompted, that what had happened to me did actually was meant to take me in a deep soul searching journey that lead me to where I am today.
However, the most compelling piece of information that all three of them gave me, was that my life’s work was to help people to understand their soul’s purpose and what they came here to do and to be. Despite all my resistances and protests, here I am all these years later doing exactly that. However, because I had much to learn, it has not all been sweetness and light. I have gone through many situations and challenges and have come out the other side and as a result, I have acquired a vast amount of knowledge and mastered many lessons. There is not much in life that I have not experienced and I can honestly say that in looking back, I can now see that it was preparing me for this amazing career. The paths that I previously called “bad mistakes” were perfect for my growth.

Gypsy was born 11 Nov 1950 in Jefferson, Iowa. She graduated West Monona High in 1969, married in 1972, and divorced in 1978. In 1975 she enlisted in USAF Electronic Switching Systems Repair. She married again in 1978 and lived in Oklahoma, raising two step-children. She attended Oklahoma State University 1986-1989 and graduated with a BS Science. She used her degree for 10 yr at OADDL lab. In 1998 Gypsy divorced again, and again remarried in 2000. Her mate passed in 2015. She now lives alone with her fur children.
Hadassadajah C. Akusani, a native of upstate New York, relocated to Asheboro, NC in 2005. She studied art and computer graphics in Mesa, Arizona at the Al Collins Graphic Design school in the mid 1980s and is now a proud graduate of the University of Metaphysical Sciences of Arcata, California.
