Sing YOUR Song

What is the tape in your head? Showing my age there. Tapes. Ha. Ok. What is the recording in your head? What does it say over and over to you? Does it tell you that you are a bad person? Does it say…my God…no one will ever listen to you…after what you did? Gross. You are so gross. You are dirty and sinful and nothing can get you clean again. You are an idiot.

Who put that recording in there? Did you? Did one of your parents? Did bullies from school, religion, work, etc? I bet it is not in your voice. Or perhaps it is now because you have been listening to it so long it has become a part of you.

You need to delete that RIGHT NOW. Erase it!  How do you do that? You do it with the same method you use to get a song out of your head. You think of a different song that you like. Get rid of the bad song with a good song. Try playing this tune instead…

You are a good person. You are clean and forgiven. Whatever you did…can’t change that now. Lots of people do things. How bad was it really? Did you rape or kill someone? Probably didn’t. So how bad was it really? Forget about it. It is in the past.

I have established previously that all is one. All life is one. All matter is one. There is no separation of any kind. You are both a drop of water in the ocean and you are the ocean…all at once. You are a fractal of the Universe and you are the Universe. Think about what that means.

Do you not have the POWER to forgive others? Yes you do. Which means you have the power to forgive yourself…of anything! You and “the others” are one. Forgive yourself!

You could forgive another person for anything if you wanted to. Even the worst criminals…the very worst…have sometimes been forgiven by their victims. I have seen it. If there is no separation of any kind…including TRULY no separation between me or you…then you can forgive ANYTHING including YOURSELF. Even if you are in prison for doing something truly awful…you can be forgiven. You will still have to deal with the consequences of this world and maybe you should, but you can be forgiven! YOU have that power.

You ARE forgiven. You ARE clean. You ARE good. Nothing may stand in your way from moving forward…the only barrier is the limit of your imagination, your love, your forgiveness…do not accept limitations. You are the boundless energy and thought of the entire Universe expressing itself in a human form for a little while. You are a BIG deal and really no big deal at all…all at once. Get over yourself…and also realize…what a big deal you are!

Now…whenever the ugly “song” pops up in your head…remember to sing a better song instead. You get to choose it. No one can make you sing their song anymore. Sing YOUR song. You are magnificent!
