The word "Shen" translates to a spiritual guide to the soul of the dead, and it was a natural evolution of spirit to seek training as an End of Life Doula. In addition to being a double certified end-of-life Doula and a tarologist since the early 1980s, Winkler is currently the co-host of the radio show Tarot@Teatime, while continuing researching and exploring the use of tarot for healing ancestral trauma and wounding. She has created two Oracle decks, the Autumn Oracle and the Crone Oracle.
In addition, Winkler has continued her training to work with our plant allies, including herbalism & aromatherapy studies, the Master Gardener program at Michigan State University, and in Botanical Illustration from the University of Michigan. Winkler continues her exploration to couple the use of sacred essential oils and ritual with tarology to assist the souls of the dying and the dead, as well as help the living to resolve their fears around death. A life-long learner, Winkler is a highly passionate creative light worker who is helping women heal their ancestral and soul wounds. Using Tarot to direct the process, she provides spiritual counseling through a variety of holistic healing methodologies.
