As a former foster child from Carol City, Florida, I transformed my experiences of neglect and abuse into a powerful drive for change. Despite the failures of my mother, stepfather, and grandfather to protect me, I emerged with a determination to break the cycle of trauma and pain. Entering the foster care system at 13 presented its own challenges, but I persevered through three near-death experiences and one cardiac arrest. In those moments, I turned to Jesus for guidance to find the answers I sought. Discovering the logo with UMS led me to pursue higher education at the University of Metaphysical Sciences, where I began healing myself and empowering others facing similar struggles. This journey has taught me to confront my past and become a beacon of hope for those in need.
