Philosopher of Metaphysical Theology, Ph.D.

Rev. Dr. Lauree Brown is a minister, educator, author, and activist whose work bridges the realms of spiritual wisdom, social justice, and transformative education. With a Ph.D. in Metaphysical Theology, she explores the intersection of consciousness, sacred symbolism, and the evolution of the soul—both personal and collective.

Her doctoral dissertation, The Allegory of the Cross: Shadow of Religion and Light of Sophia, reimagines Plato’s Allegory of the Cave through the symbol of the Cross, offering a bold critique of institutional religion and a powerful call to inner awakening, guided by divine feminine wisdom (Sophia). Drawing from theology, philosophy, and lived experience, her work challenges the boundaries between academic thought and mystical knowing.

Dr. Brown is a licensed metaphysical minister and a lifelong advocate for marginalized communities. She also holds degrees in Psychology and Anthropology, and a Master of Divinity in Metaphysical Science. Her teaching background includes youth empowerment, leadership development, and community service programming through innovative project-based learning.

She is currently authoring the historical fiction series Obscure Women of the Bible, which brings forgotten female voices to life through rigorous historical research and emotional depth. The debut novel in the series, Beyond the Well—a reimagining of the Samaritan woman’s story—will be released in early 2026.
