Joan Kavanagh is a registered nurse, college educator and writer dedicated to helping healthcare students succeed. She earned a Registered Nursing Diploma on the dean’s list with honors from Conestoga College and a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies from Brock University before studying with the University of Metaphysical Science. She worked in the areas of pediatrics, long term care and teletriage nursing before becoming an educator.
