Jeri Gowen, M.Ed., Ph.D., is a mental health counseling professional who has worked in drug and alcohol prevention for thirty years in Idaho school districts and in the community. Jeri is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), a Counseling Supervisor, and a Certified Prevention Specialist (CPS). Jeri recently completed her Ph.D. dissertation on using a prevention model coupled with mental health to assist adolescents in dealing with the effects of trauma.
Jeri is the Clinical Director and Founder of Prevention Associates of Caldwell, and the Owner of Harbor Lights Counseling. She serves on the Behavioral Health Board for Region 3, the 2C Drug Free Coalition (2C-DFC), the Community Outreach Behavioral Services Board (COBS), and is the Community Coalitions of Idaho Region 3 Representative (CCI).
Jeri has retired and works at doing service oriented activities as well as recreation and travel!
