Helen A. Stewart graduated with honors from John Lewis High School in Ellaville, Ga. and Magna cum laude from Albany State College. She received her Master Degree in, Education from Fort Valley University, Summa cum laude and UMS. Helen also holds a certificate in Gifted Education from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. She taught school for over 39 years before retiring, and then serving as a mentor for 8 years for the Atlanta Public School System. She has a deep love and commitment for following the principles of God and Jesus Christ, and is proud to have successfully achieved her doctorate at UMS.
